It’s true what they say – you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes they wear, particularly in an F1 paddock. With thousands of people walking kilometres each day between the garages, hospitality units, and media centre, comfort is just as important as style. Here are some of Kym’s favourite pairs from the British Grand Prix weekend.

Alpinestars Supermono V2
The first pair were impossible to ignore: Alpinestars Supermono V2 racing shoes, customised with hand-drawn doodles and the uplifting message, “DREAM BIG.” Personal touches like these always make a pair of shoes that little bit more memorable.

Christian Louboutin Fun Louise
Bold footwear was definitely a trend at Silverstone, and these Christian Louboutin Fun Louise Junior Sneakers were another standout. Their signature red soles are instantly recognisable, while the vibrant multicoloured design ensured they attracted plenty of attention.

LoveShackFancy x Superga
Bringing a softer look to the paddock were these LoveShackFancy x Superga trainers. Inspired by the carefree spirit of the 1960s, they combined comfort with understated elegance – ideal for a busy race weekend.

Converse x Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
These sneakers are a fun collaboration between Converse and NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. With their futuristic design and reflective finish, they looked right at home under the British sunshine.

Holland Cooper Knightsbridge
British fashion was well represented too. These Holland Cooper Knightsbridge Court Trainers blended classic tennis shoe styling with elegant pink bouclé fabric and subtle gold detailing, creating a refined look that suited Silverstone perfectly.

Gucci Jordaan
There was no missing these Gucci Jordaan loafers. Covered in colourful sequins and finished with Gucci’s iconic gold horsebit, they brought a little extra sparkle to an already glamorous paddock.

Miu Miu
One of the rarest pairs in the paddock were these Miu Miu sneakers featuring distinctive red stars. These are extremely hard to come by following such a limited release, making them one of the weekend’s most exclusive finds.

Nicola Barbato
Italian craftsmanship was on full display with these beautifully made Nicola Barbato leather shoes. The bold red stripe and matching laces contrasted nicely with the snakeskin detailing on the heel, giving them plenty of character.

Nike LeBron
If you’re a basketball fan, you can’t look past these Nike LeBrons. This colourway, known as “Grandma’s Couch Pack – Pearl of Z,” features delicate floral patterns that felt surprisingly at home at the British Grand Prix.

Christian Louboutin Astrocool
Finally, these Christian Louboutin trainers offered something completely different. Inspired by science fiction, they paired classic navy, white, and red tones with an edgy silhouette and signature rear spikes. A perfect blend of traditional British colours and unmistakably modern design.
