About Jack

Jack Doohan was announced as an Alpine driver in mid-2024 but secured his F1 race debut in the 2024 Abu Dhabi GP. As the son of five-time MotoGP world champion Mick Doohan, motorsport runs in his blood. However, Jack has made a name for himself in single-seater racing, carving his own path to Formula 1.
Jack is the second Australian driver on the grid this year. He secured multiple wins and podiums in the 2023 F2 championship before being offered the role of Alpine reserve driver in 2024.
Jack is a sharp dresser, a funny guy and a committed racer. This year he will be under considerable pressure to impress from the season opener given that Argentinian driver Franco Colapinto is waiting in the Alpine wings.
Following the 2025 Miami GP, it was announced that Jack would be replaced by reserve driver, Franco Colapinto, for at least the next five races.
